After these nine shows Tony Garnier is the
musician who has played most shows with Dylan ever: 266. Christopher Parker did
263 and G.E Smith 241.
Venues varied from a 1500 seater in Sao
Paolo to a 30,000 stadium in Belo Horizonte with 8,000 attending. Ticket prices
corresponded roughly to six months salaries for the poorer part of the
population! Attendees in Sao Paolo were described as belonging to "the
Mercedes crowd". Dylan gave four or possibly five press conferences!
