1             INTRODUCTION

Who would have thought that Bob Dylan not only would take up the role as Disc Jockey for a radio show, but that he should do it so well. From the first program treating the theme Weather he sounded perfectly comfortable, like he had been doing this for years. The first 34 shows of the planned series of 50 were broadcast in 2006. All were one hour programs except the theme Time, which ran for 77 minutes (!) and the two-hour Christmas and New Year’s program. Many of Bob Dylan's contributions were probably recorded during the Never-Ending Tour which this year consisted of 98 concerts in US and Europe. And as if this was not enough Bob Dylan found time to record a new album, Modern Times, in February-March! The album was released in August and songs from it made their live debuts during the US Fall Tour.
