Nice to be here in Cincinnati, home of King Records, one of the best record labels that’s ever been. Also, the birthplace, I think, of Roy Rogers. Shut up!  (a response to a very loud and absolutely disturbing female shouting “Bobiiiiiiiieeeee” before “can ya tell me what it means, ‘to be or not to be’” in “My Own Version of You”).

A male voice is shouting “Pretty Boy Floyd”  – Bob’s reaction: “You got the wrong place… yeah, Springsteen on Broadway played that… you’re at the wrong show” (before “I’ve Made Up My Mind To Give Myself To You).

Well, tank you everybody! I wanna thank you on behalf of my band as well. It’s good to be back here in the Big Apple. Uh, the home of, uh, George Gershwin lived here, I know that, Jackie O. Herman Melville was born here. But, uh, talk about the greats, we, uh, Sylvester Stallone is also from here. And if you haven’t seen his latest movie, you got to go see it. It’s called, what’s it called? It’s called, “The Last Something.” The Last Blood, that’s right, Last Blood. I tell ya, it shoulda won an Academy Award, but of course it didn’t. Maybe next time. Talk about greatness, there’s a Charley Drayton playin’ on the drums. And Doug Lancio is on the guitar. Uh, Bob Britt is on the, uh, playin’ one of the guitars. Bob, show y’all how to play that guitar behind your head, just put it back, even if you don’t play it. There ya go [laughs]. Donnie Herron is playin’, uh, steel guitar. Don is from Fort Smith, Arkansas, one of the occult centers of the world. And, uh, can’t tell ya how great this guy is, he’s been great for a long time, Tony Garnier (before “Every Grain of Sand”).

Why thank you everybody. I wanna thank you on behalf of my band as well. Nice to play here in this Capitol Theatre. I think Gone With The Wind premiered here in, when was it? 1939 I think. It cost five cents. All right, on the drums is, uh, Charley Drayton tonight. Charley Drayton. Doug Lancio is playin’ on one of the guitars. Doug, which one are ya? And Bob Britt is playin’ on the other guitar. Yeah, why don’t ya give this whole band a hand? Donnie Herron, he’s over here a while, he’s a child prodigy, Donnie Herron played on steel guitar. Why thank you everybody. I wanna thank you on behalf of, uh, on behalf of my band as well. It’s nice to be here in Providence, home of the Separatist Movement. We know that. We’re separatists too, separatists too. Anyway, on the drums tonight, here is Charley Drayton. Any Puritans still around here? You see any Puritans out there? Anyway, ok, on the guitars, Doug Lancio. We’re puritans. We play puritan music, that’s for sure. So, ahh, Bob Britt is playin’ on the other guitar [laughs]. Donnie Herron, he’s a child, uh, child prodigy, and he’s still with us…been with us since he’s six years old. Donnie Herron. And Tony Garnier: he’s, he’s, ahh, always welcome around. He’s been around before and he’ll be around after. He’s the best, Tony Garnier! (before “Every Grain of Sand”).

Well, thank you, everybody! And I’d like to thank you on behalf of my band. Nice to be here in Boston: Bunker Hill, Beacon Hill, Blue Hill, all those hills. And what about the Midnight Ride? Yeah! What about, what about that? Midnight Ride of Paul Revere. Yes. I think he made the Liberty Bell. He worked with iron too, ya know? I work with iron myself. Anyway, let’s have a cheer for Paul Revere. Yeah! On the drums tonight is Charley Drayton. On one guitar is, ahh, Doug Lancio. He’s playin’, ahh, this one, or this guitar. Don’t wanna get these boys mixed up. And then now there’s Bob Britt is playin’ the other guitar. Donnie Herron is here on the steel guitar. You been hearing him for a long time. And he’s just as good as he always was. Tony Garnier is playin’ on the bass guitar. And he is too (before “Every Grain of Sand”).

Why, thanks everybody! I’d like to thank you, even, on behalf of my band with whom I. Nice to be back here in Philadelphia: home of the Liberty Bell, birthplace of freedom, oh yeah, Frankie Avalon, and the statue of Rocky, all right, and Philly’s Cheesesteak, we’re not gonna forget that. On the drums is Charley Drayton [laughs]. Doug Lancio’s on one of the guitars, Doug, where are you? Bob Britt’s on the other guitar. I’ll tell ya, none of these, neither one of these guys has got to burn their guitars up to make a, to make an effect, that’s for sure, and they don’t break them either. Ahh, Donnie Herron’s on the steel guitar [laughs]. Tony Garnier is playin’ on the bass. We love to play here; hopin’ we hopin’ we’ll come back (before “Every Grain of Sand”).

Why, thank you, everybody. For myself and behalf of the band as well. Nice to be here in DC, home of the Mayflower Hotel, Pentagon City. Yeah! Mayflower Hotel: I don’t know if J. Edgar Hoover used to eat breakfast and dinner there, everyday. That was the good ol’ days. Anyway, I used to come down here to see, ahh, Country Gentleman. Anybody remember them? Charlie Waller and Don…Charlie Waller and John Duffey. Anyway on the drums tonight is Charley Drayton. And, ahh, Doug Lancio is playin’ on the guitar. And so is Bob Britt. And Donnie Herron is on the steel guitar. Tony Garnier is playin’ on the bass guitar (before “Every Grain of Sand”).
