Nampa, Idaho, 22 July 2003	Dylan’s guitar technician Tommy Morrongiello plays guitar with the band for the first time. He joined the band on six more occasions during 2003.
Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 29 July 2003	A short tour within the tour starts. Dylan opened for the Dead during their Summer Getaway 2003 Tour. Dylan then joined The Dead on three or four songs.
Syracuse, New York, 8 August	The mini-tour with The Dead ends after eight shows.
